In the United Chinese Society Hall is a 10' x 15' fresco which was painted in 1954 by renowned architect, Beverly Willis, FAIA. On February 15, 2010, Beverly Willis returned to the United Chinese Society Hall to a reception in her honor. The architect, Clifford Young who commissioned her to do the mural was present as well as her friends and the community.

Beverly Willis tells of her work on the fresco in 1954. An article about her was in the local newspaper, The Honolulu Advertiser (today, known as the Star Advertiser).
